2011-12 Top 25 College Football Games of the Year
#25 San Diego State Aztecs @ Michigan Wolverines

The Michigan Wolverines and the San Diego State Aztecs aren’t going to be putting on the biggest show of the year, as neither of these two are going to be National Championship contenders this year, but they are still clearly going to a ton of storylines, as former SDSU Head Coach Brady Hoke tries to take down his former team in his new maize and blue.

This is a year in which Michigan is expected to do a lot better now that the Big 10 has expanded to 12 teams. QB Denard Robinson is going to end up as a Heisman Trophy contender again this season, as he is going to end up putting up some gaudy statistics. He threw for 2,570 yards and rushed for 1,702 yards last year, and he really came out on nowhere to do so. Scoring isn’t an issue for Big Blue. It accounted for 489.1 yards per game a season ago and put up 32.8 points per game.

2004: Michigan 24 – San Diego State 21

The issue is going to be whether there is going to be any defense to stop the San Diego State offense. Michigan really struggled last season, allowing a ton of points to a ton of teams. The Wolverines will be up against it going against an offense that averaged 458.1 yards per game last year. RB Ronnie Hillman is going to have his work cut out for him picking up the slack for an offense that must replace a number of departed players… not to mention its head coach from a year ago.

Week 14 of the 2010 college football campaign is going to get underway this weekend. Below you will find the current list of 2010 Week 14 NCAA football lines and spreads along with a breakdown of the Week 14 college football lines. Be sure to check out the free NCAA football picks from the expert handicappers at Bankroll Sports this weekend!

This is it! After a full season long college football picks, the road to the BCS finally stops this weekend, as two teams will be vying for spots in the BCS National Championship Game, while the other 118 teams just scramble to make bowls of lesser value.

The chase is really just down to four teams, as the Oregon Ducks and Auburn Tigers are in the driver’s seat, while the two teams waiting like piranhas for them to slip are the TCU Horned Frogs and Stanford Cardinal respectively.

Oregon has the easiest route to get to BCS glory. It has already won the Pac-10 this season and has absolutely no pressure on its back to get to one of the most illustrious bowl games, as it will go to the Rose Bowl to face the Wisconsin Badgers if it loses. However, you can bet that HC Chip Kelly’s club has no interest in the consolation prize this year, especially after winning in Pasadena last season. The Oregon State Beavers have a ton of motivation this season to beat their arch rivals, not just because this is the Civil War, one of the most brutal battles in the country, but because their bowl lives depend on it. After a season in which the Beavers have already suffered losses to three of the Top 10 teams in the nation, they have to face the land’s best. It might be playing at home in front of a raucous crowd at Reser Stadium, but Oregon State is a 16.5 point underdog.

Auburn has a significantly more difficult road to get to Glendale, as it has to take on a team that nearly beat it in the regular season, the South Carolina Gamecocks. We know that QB Cam Newton probably already has the Heisman Trophy wrapped up whether he accounts for ten touchdowns or ten turnovers in this one, but he is clearly going to have to play well if he wants to bring his Tigers to the BCS Championship Game. South Carolina allowed over 330 yards on the ground to these guys when they met at Jordan Hare Stadium, but in spite of that, it still allowed less than 100 yards in total per game in rushing. The Gamecocks have never won the SEC and have never been to a BCS bowl game before. A win sends them to the Sugar Bowl and would make friends for life out of the TCU Horned Frogs. Auburn knows that it will either be going to the title game or the Orange Bowl, but just like Oregon, there is no desire to settle for second best after a season in which virtually everything went right. The oddsmakers are showing some faith in the Gamecocks after their seven point loss on the road in September, lining them at +5.

Should Auburn lose on Saturday, the Arkansas Razorbacks will be shifted out of the BCS and most likely into the Capital One Bowl. Should the Tigers win, college football expert picks are projecting the Hogs in the Sugar Bowl, where they would face either the Stanford Cardinal or the Big East champion.

BCS bids will be handed out in the ACC, Big East, and Big XII as well this weekend, and you can bet that the five clashes surrounding these illustrious bowl bids are going to be hot and heavy, as none of these teams are going to be at large entrants into the BCS.

In the ACC, the Virginia Tech Hokies and Florida State Seminoles meet in the ACC Championship Game in Charlotte. These two teams have met here once before, with Florida State already having shocked the Hokies once for the conference crown. HC Jimbo Fisher just picked up the biggest win of his young coaching career against the Florida Gators last week, and if he nails this one down on Saturday, no one will be questioning whether it was the right time for HC Bobby Bowden to leave Tallahassee or not. The Hokies haven’t lost outright and are 9-1 ATS since losing to the James Madison Dukes way back in September, and they are four point favorites on Saturday night.

In a game running concurrently in primetime, the Nebraska Cornhuskers and Oklahoma Sooners will meet for one last time as conference rivals at Dallas Cowboys Stadium, and the stakes could not be higher. It was a tumultuous season for both in the Big XII, but just as most figured at the outset of the year, the two are fighting it out for a BCS bowl bid. The winner goes to the Fiesta Bowl, most likely to face the Stanford Cardinal. Without knowing what the state of the Nebraska quarterback situation is at this point, the oddsmakers really had no choice but to line the Sooners as 4.5 point favorites.

In the Big East, the Connecticut Huskies are just 60 minutes away from their first conference crown and their first trip to the BCS. They’ll take on the South Florida Bulls, where they are slight one point underdogs. If UConn drops on Saturday, the door will swing open for the West Virginia Mountaineers to make a return trip to the BCS. There is no doubt that the ‘Neers, three TD favorites against the Rutgers Scarlet Knights, would capitalize on this opportunity, but should they lose, it would all swing back to the Pittsburgh Panthers, who are two point road dogs against the Cincinnati Bears. Should all three lose, the Huskies would win the Big East and most likely head to the Orange Bowl.

Don’t forget about the MAC and Conference USA Championship Games either. In the MAC on Friday night, the Northern Illinois Huskies, a Top 25 team, take on the Miami Redhawks, where they are favored by 17.5 points. The Conference USA crown will be handed out on Saturday, where the UCF Knights are hosting the biggest game in the history of their new stadium, Bright House Network Stadium Field on Saturday afternoon. They are nine point favorites over the SMU Mustangs.

The biggest favorites of the weekend are the Boise State Broncos, who are just praying that they can make enough of a statement against the Utah State Aggies to make it to a BCS bowl game. The chances are very, very slim at best, but the men from the Smurf Turf are favored by 38 points regardless.

Week 13 of the 2010 college football campaign is going to get underway this weekend. Below you will find the current list of 2010 Week 13 NCAA football lines and spreads along with a breakdown of the Week 13 college football lines. Be sure to check out the free NCAA football picks from the expert handicappers at Bankroll Sports this weekend!

Rivalries are abound over the course of this weekend, and college football betting fans should be excited for the action! This week offers a slew of fantastic games on the slate, and we have all of the action broken down for all of the most important college football picks that you need to make for the week to come.

In the Big XII, the Texas A&M Aggies and Texas Longhorns are going to try to make some headway in the conference, but they have some totally different goals. The Aggies are trying to move up in the bowl picture in the conference, and perhaps even keep their slim BCS bowl dreams alive. Texas is going to need to win this game to make a bowl game, as it knows that this is its last chance to get back to .500 on the season. The Aggies are favored by 3.5 points.

Texas isn’t the only team in bowl trouble, though. The Georgia Bulldogs are 5-6 on the season, and they are going to try to take down the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets, who are 6-5. Both teams probably need this game though, as neither the SEC nor the ACC is going to be able to send all of its teams to bowl games in all likelihood. The visitors are playing without QB Josh Nesbitt, which is why the Dawgs are 12 point choices of the oddsmakers.

The Golden Boot will be handed out to the winner of the annual duel between the LSU Tigers and the Arkansas Razorbacks. The loser of this game is certain to be stuck with a second tier bowl game this year, while the winner is going to finish in no worse than a tie for second place in the SEC West and be eligible for a BCS at large bid. LSU knows it is going to the BCS and has a chance to play for a National Championship with a victory. However, with this game being played in Little Rock, QB Ryan Mallett and company are favored by 3.5 points.

In the Sunshine State, the Florida Gators and Florida State Seminoles are going to have at it on Saturday afternoon at Doak Campbell Stadium. UF knows that it is probably going to the Outback Bowl regardless of the outcome in this game, but the Noles are likely to really move up or down the ACC bowl ladder based upon the result. This is an incredibly important game for HC Jimbo Fisher, as he badly needs to beat the rival Gators, who have beaten the Noles six straight times. The Seminoles are 2.5 point favorites at home on Saturday afternoon.

FSU might be paying more attention to the duel in College Park, where the NC State Wolfpack are going to face the Maryland Terrapins. Should the Terps win this game, the Noles will be going to the ACC Championship Game to face the Virginia Tech Hokies, while a win for the Wolfpack will put them in the title game for the first time in school history. The visitors are 2.5 point favorites.

The Backyard Brawl should be a good one this year, as the West Virginia Mountaineers and Pitt Panthers are going to be fighting for the catbird’s seat in the Big East. The winner will have a shot to win the conference and crack the Top 25, while the loser is going to be in awful trouble for a quality bowl game. The hosts are favored by 2.5 points, but when the ‘total’ comes out, be careful about backing the ‘over’. There are a few high school games being played the day before and the weather might not be fantastic at Heinz Field.

The Big Ten is going to be a mess this weekend, as there are a number of opportunities for the Ohio State Buckeyes, Wisconsin Badgers, and Michigan State Spartans to make it to the Rose Bowl. Wisky is the team that probably is in the best shape, but it can’t do anything right now without the Buckeyes giving it a hand. If OSU loses to the Michigan Wolverines, the Spartans are going to be in the driver’s seat. The Badgers will win the conference though, if all three teams win. They are favored by 23 points at home against the Northwestern Wildcats. Ohio State is favored by 17 points over Big Blue, while the Spartans are slender two point choices at Happy Valley against the Penn State Nittany Lions.

The biggest favorites on the board this weekend in NCAA football betting action is the TCU Horned Frogs. They need to win this game against the New Mexico Lobos in fine fashion to have any chance of staying in front of the Boise State Broncos in the BCS rankings. The Lobos are 43.5 point pups on the afternoon, while Boise State, who is visiting the Nevada Wolf Pack, is favored by 13.5 points.

The Big XII South is down to just two teams, and Bedlam is going be a heck of a showdown this year in Stillwater. The Oklahoma Sooners have played down to the level of their competition all season long, but they are going to need this one in a big way to win the Big XII and to potentially set up a duel with the Nebraska Cornhuskers in the Big XII Championship Game. The Oklahoma State Cowboys are going to be getting in the way, though. They have had a fantastic season and might be primed for something huge. A ‘W’ as 2.5 point favorites at home will send the Pokes to the Big XII title game.

However, no weekend like this would be complete without discussing the game that people have been dying to make college football picks on all season long. The Alabama Crimson Tide, last year’s National Champions, are going to be hosting the Auburn Tigers, the No. 2 team in the country. Auburn really hasn’t done a lot on the road this year, as it has only played three games against subpar opponents. Its defense has really struggled for the majority of the year as well. However, the bottom line is that “0” sitting in the Tigers’ loss column right now, and regardless of how good the Crimson Tide really are, they have two losses and know that they need some help to go to a BCS bowl game. The oddsmakers are showing all sorts of faith in the hosts in this one, as they are 4.5 point favorites in spite of the fact that Auburn has so much more to play for in the Iron Bowl.

Week 12 of the 2010 college football campaign is going to get underway this weekend. Below you will find the current list of 2010 Week 12 NCAA football lines and spreads along with a breakdown of the Week 12 college football lines. Be sure to check out the free NCAA football picks from the expert handicappers at Bankroll Sports this weekend!

The 2010 college football betting campaign has just three weeks left, and this could be the most intense week of the campaign to date.

The Big Ten is going to be the conference with the most pressure on it over the course of the day on Saturday. No one is expecting the Michigan State Spartans to struggle this weekend, as they are playing the Purdue Boilermakers at home. Purdue still really doesn’t have a heck of a lot of offensive options, while the Spartans know that they very well could just be two wins away from the Rose Bowl. The Wisconsin Badgers are heading to the Big House as well to take on the Michigan Wolverines.

The big game of the day in this conference though, involves the Iowa Hawkeyes and the Ohio State Buckeyes. Iowa knows that its Rose Bowl hopes probably went up in flames last week with a loss to the Northwestern Wildcats. The Buckeyes are probably in the driver’s seat for the time being, though they know that they do still need some help to Pasadena once again. Losing this game probably takes away any opportunity to do anything better than go to the Capital One Bowl or the Outback Bowl. The Buckeyes are three point favorites at Kinnick Stadium, a place where they have really historically struggled.

The ACC Atlantic Division is up in the air right now, as the Florida State Seminoles and Maryland Terrapins both think that they are still on their way to the conference championship game. The Terps know that they are two wins away from winning the Atlantic Division, but they are probably going to be underdogs in their final two games of the campaign, both of which are played at home. The Noles, who need to win out and get a loss from the North Carolina State Wolfpack, are favored by four points on the road.

Meanwhile, NC State is a 2.5 point underdog on the road to the North Carolina Tar Heels in one of the week’s biggest games.

The ACC Coastal Division will be decided on Saturday if the chalk holds up. The Virginia Tech Hokies are 2.5 point favorites at the Miami Hurricanes. If V-Tech wins, it will officially be back on the map, one win away from a place in the Orange Bowl, in a season that could have been a certified disaster after losing to the James Madison Dukes way back in Week 2 of the year. The Canes need to win out and have the Hokies lose their ACC finale to go to their first ever ACC Championship Game.

In the Big East, the Pitt Panthers are trying to get back on the horse in conference play, as they know that they can win out and go to the Fiesta Bowl. However, stopping in Tampa Bay against the South Florida Bulls is never an easy task, as is demonstrated by the fact that they are only 2.5 point favorites on the afternoon.

The SEC doesn’t have a heck of a lot of action on Saturday, as most of the teams are getting ready for their rivalry games next week. Two of the big foes, the Arkansas Razorbacks and LSU Tigers are both in action though, and both could be facing some tough tests from two other rivals. The Hogs are traveling to the Mississippi State Bulldogs in the SEC West, while the Bayou Bengals are at home against the Mississippi Rebels. Arkansas is a 3.5 point favorite, while LSU is the choice of the oddsmakers by 16 points. Should either of the favorites lose, they will be knocked out of the running for a BCS bowl game, and in the case of the Tigers, for the BCS National Championship as well.

Once again, the biggest favorites on the weekend are the Nevada Wolf Pack, who are favored by 37.5 points against the hapless New Mexico State Aggies. The Boise State Broncos are 30.5 point chalks at home against the Fresno State Bulldogs in one of the biggest tests that it has to face this year.

Week 11 of the 2010 college football campaign is going to get underway this weekend. Below you will find the current list of 2010 Week 11 NCAA football lines and spreads along with a breakdown of the Week 11 college football lines. Be sure to check out the free NCAA football picks from the expert handicappers at Bankroll Sports this weekend!

There are only a few weeks left in the college football betting season, and this is going to be one of the more interesting and entertaining ones on the slate.

The three teams that everyone is going to be looking for this week are the Oregon Ducks, Auburn Tigers, and TCU Horned Frogs, as these three are the best contenders for the BCS Championship Game this year. The No. 1 team in the land, the Ducks, are hitting the road this weekend to take on the Cal Golden Bears. Auburn knows that the SEC West is there for the taking this week if it can just beat the Georgia Bulldogs at home at Jordan Hare Stadium. TCU has its hardest game left of the season, as it will welcome the San Diego State Aztecs to Fort Worth. All three teams are hefty favorites and are expected to get out of another week at No. 1, 2, and 3 in the BCS.

There are going to be a ton of division winners sorted out this week, starting right away on Tuesday with the duel between the Northern Illinois Huskies and the Toledo Rockets. The winner will most likely win the MAC West. With QB Austin Dantin on the sidelines and the Rockets hitting the road, they are in bad shape and are rightfully 10.5 point pups on Tuesday night.

On Thursday, the Pitt Panthers can move one step closer to the Big East crown, but they are going to be up against it with their visit to the UConn Huskies. These two teams typically play some hardnosed games, and this one should be no exception. Neither one of these squads is guaranteed a bowl game yet, but both are still absolutely in the conference championship race. UConn stands no chance if it loses this one though, and it is facing a five point NCAA football spread.

The Big East might not have a rep in the Top 25 of the BCS Rankings, but Conference USA does! The UCF Knights are in the Top 25 for the first time in school history, and they’ll take the field at Bright House Stadium against the Southern Mississippi Golden Eagles in a game that can move them within just one win of the C-USA title game for the second time ever. UCF is favored by ten points.

The Big Ten has three games this week that could help sort out this gigantic mess in the race for the Rose Bowl. The Wisconsin Badgers are hefty three TD favorites against the Indiana Hoosiers, but the Iowa Hawkeyes and Ohio State Buckeyes will have tougher tussles. They’ll play the Northwestern Wildcats and Penn State Nittany Lions respectively. Both are double digit favorites, but both are potentially in some trouble.

There are only two battles this week that feature a pair of Top 25 teams, and both are being contested at 7:15 ET. The Mississippi State Bulldogs can add to the misery of the Alabama Crimson Tide, who have probably been knocked out of the BCS picture already. The Tide are favored by 13.5 points on Saturday, but they could be up against it with a tough MSU team that has already beaten the Florida Gators on the road this year.

The other game is clearly the most important of the day. The SEC East has had twists and turns all over the place this year, but it all comes down to just the South Carolina Gamecocks and the Florida Gators. South Carolina, coming off of a bad loss to the Arkansas Razorbacks, is a 6.5 point pup on the road in the Swamp, which is where HC Steve Spurrier hasn’t won since he donned the blue and orange visor. With a spot in the SEC Championship Game on the line, this is going to be one that you certainly don’t want to miss.

The biggest favorite of the weekend is the Nebraska Cornhuskers, which are favored by 35.5 points over the Kansas Jayhawks, who just came back from down 28 points in the fourth quarter to beat the Colorado Buffaloes. Honorable mentions go to the Boise State Broncos and LSU Tigers, both of which are also favored over the Idaho Vandals and Louisiana Monroe Warhawks by 30+ points.

Week 10 of the 2010 college football campaign is going to get underway this weekend. Below you will find the current list of 2010 Week 10 NCAA football lines and spreads along with a breakdown of the Week 10 college football lines. Be sure to check out the free NCAA football picks from the expert handicappers at Bankroll Sports this weekend!

Top 25 battles are all over the NCAA football betting slate this weekend, and these are games that you certainly don’t want to miss out on!

We’ll start in the Big XII South, where the Baylor Bears and Oklahoma State Cowboys are sure to put on a real offensive showcase in Stillwater. Baylor finds itself firmly entrenched in the Top 25 and is just a few wins away from surprisingly winning the Big XII South! This is a long, uphill road to climb though, as wins against the Pokes this week and the Oklahoma Sooners down the road are going to be tremendously difficult tasks. The oddsmakers didn’t believe in Baylor last week at the Texas Longhorns, making them 7.5 point underdogs at the outset of the week, and that’s the exact same line it is facing this weekend against the Cowboys.

The Pac-10 will have a de facto Rose Bowl elimination game on Saturday night, as the Arizona Wildcats travel to the Stanford Cardinal. These teams both have to feel that they at least have an outside chance of winning the BCS Championship as well, as they are ranked No. 12 and No. 13 in the nation, and the winner will be in the Top 10 in the land for sure when the week is said and done. QB Nick Foles sat out his second straight game last week in a 29-21 win over the UCLA Bruins, but the oddsmakers have already made a firm stance against the Cats in this one seemingly regardless of who is calling the shots. Stanford is a comfortable 9.5 point home favorite.

The SEC actually has a pair of Top 25 tussles this weekend. The South Carolina Gamecocks know that this isn’t an absolute must win game, especially knowing that their duel with the Florida Gators is on tap next week in the Swamp, but beating the Arkansas Razorbacks would go a long way in helping keep this team in the Top 25 and working towards a great bowl game this year if the BCS slot is not procured. The Hogs are going to be hurting on offense with the loss of WR Greg Childs to a season ending injury, but the NCAA football lines still suggest that they have a great shot in this one. Arkansas is only a 3.5 point underdog in Columbia.

The main course for the evening in the SEC though, will be down in the Bayou, where the Alabama Crimson Tide and LSU Tigers will meet in a game that will eliminate one from the SEC West and National Championship race once and for all in all likelihood. Alabama knows that it controls its own destiny for a chance in the BCS title game, as it will certainly have the computer resume to move into the Top 2, especially after wins like this one, but the Bayou Bengals might surprisingly be in the same sort of spot. When the lights go out in Baton Rouge, things get very scary for the visitors. Halloween might have been last weekend, but you can bet, especially off of a bye week, that HC Les Miles is getting all of his tricks prepared to treat the hometown crowd to a potential upset of the defending National Champions. This game might be at night, but the hosts are still 6.5 point underdogs.

The one duel that we have yet to mention is the big time mid major clash between the TCU Horned Frogs and the Utah Utes. This is actually the first time this year that two teams from the BCS have met, and it marks the first time that two mid-majors both ranked in the Top 5 will meet in the regular season since the BCS was formed. Utah has this game at home, but certainly doesn’t have history on its side. TCU knows that a win is the only route to the BCS Championship, but even that isn’t a guarantee, especially with a number of one loss teams trying to catch up from behind. The Utes are in this race as well, and they’ll want to make their huge statement to try to move up into the coveted Top 2 spots in the country. Either way, both of these teams have their eyes set on a big time bowl to try to boost their respective programs, but in all likelihood, only one will end up making it to a BCS bowl game. The loser is going to be very, very disappointed when this one is over on Saturday.

There are only four teams that are favored by at least 20 points this weekend, but none are anywhere near the -34.5 the Oregon Ducks are against the Washington Huskies. The Huskies are in a ton of trouble without QB Jake Locker in the lineup, especially going into Eugene, where teams just seemingly go to get destroyed nowadays. The U of O is inevitably out to make another huge statement, especially after taking over the top spot in the BCS rankings this week.

Week 9 of the 2010 college football campaign is going to get underway this weekend. Below you will find the current list of 2010 Week 9 NCAA football lines and spreads along with a breakdown of the Week 9 college football lines. Be sure to check out the free NCAA football picks from the expert handicappers at Bankroll Sports this weekend!

The Oregon Ducks have to want to know what in the heck they did wrong last week. They beat the snot out of the UCLA Bruins 60-14, and though the No. 1 team in the land, the Oklahoma Sooners, ultimately ended up dropping to the Missouri Tigers, it was the Auburn Tigers that moved up to No. 1, not Oregon. The Quack Attack has a great chance to make a name for themselves this weekend in Pasadena against the USC Trojans, who arguably would be good enough to be in the Top 25 this year if they were eligible for the BCS rankings. It isn’t often that you see the men of Troy getting points at home, but that’s what’s happening on Saturday night, as the Ducks are laying 6.5.

What about that stingy Auburn team… The Tigers now have the odds on favorite to win the Heisman Trophy in QB Cam Newton, but they also have a suddenly dubious distinction of being the No. 1 team in the land that is about to head on the road. No, running up against the Mississippi Rebels isn’t as difficult as the tests that the Sooners, the Ohio State Buckeyes, and the Alabama Crimson Tide have faced, but there’s a reason that the top team in the country is only laying a touchdown on the road against a very scary Ole Miss team led by the improving QB Jeremiah Masoli.

One of the great rivalry games in college football is this weekend, as the Florida Gators and Georgia Bulldogs meet in the World’s Largest Cocktail Party in Jacksonville, FL. UF is almost always favored in this game, but thanks to its three game losing streak and UGA’s three straight wins in conference, the Dawgs are actually the choices of the oddsmakers by a field goal. The winner of this game will have a leg up in the SEC race, but of these two teams, only the Gators control their own destiny to get to the SEC Championship Game in Atlanta.

Perhaps the biggest game of the weekend is going to be play in Lincoln on Saturday night. The Nebraska Cornhuskers might have saved their season last week by taking care of the Oklahoma State Cowboys in Stillwater, but now they have to run into the last undefeated team standing in this conference, the Missouri Tigers. Though it is a long ways away from a sure thing, the Tigers would essentially wrap up a berth in the Big XII Championship Game with a win, as Nebraska would be two back and the tiebreaker. That means that the ‘Zou would have to avoid losing three games from here on out, and it would still get a chance to play for the Big XII crown. The ‘Huskers control their own destiny in their final season in the Big XII, and this would be a great chance to keep themselves in the driver’s seat for the BCS as opposed to finding themselves in a second or third tier bowl game.

The Michigan State Spartans are all the way up to No. 5 in the country this week, and they might have their last big test of the season as well. Their offense is going to be tested by a very stout defense of the Iowa Hawkeyes, who have to be steaming after that loss to the Wisconsin Badgers last week. With their only shot of winning the Big Ten laying on the line, the Hawkeyes are actually laying 6.5 points against one of the few undefeated teams left in the nation.

We’re getting tired of saying it each and every week, but once again, the two biggest favorites on the college football betting board are the Boise State Broncos and the TCU Horned Frogs. Boise State played on Tuesday night and just narrowly missed covering a whopping 37.5 point spread. However, the Horned Frogs are laying five full touchdowns at the UNLV Rebels on Saturday night in what really shouldn’t be a close game.

The team with the only undefeated ATS mark in the country, the Utah Utes, will need to beat the Air Force Falcons in Colorado Springs by more than a touchdown to move to 7-0-1 ATS on the year.
