Number 5 Pick: Green Bay Packers – AJ Hawk (LB, Ohio State Buckeyes)

AJ Hawk, the throwback linebacker out of Ohio State, was the only defensive player of the NFL football picks worthy of going in the top 5 of the draft. Hawk is one of the most instinctive players in the draft and is always around the football. He has incredible range and will be called upon to cover tight ends as well as running backs out of the backfield in the NFL. Hawk is a sure tackler and does a pretty good job of shedding blockers. Some of the question marks about Hawk are whether or not he can last a whole season playing NFL Football, as he is slightly undersized, if he will have a tough time taking on some of the bigger full backs in the National Football League, and if he truly is as athletic as his numbers show.
