Tennessee Titans (10-1) @ Detroit Lions (0-11)

Over/Under: 44
Preview: In what appears to be quite the NFL blowout in store for Thanksgiving Day, may turn into an interesting football game. The Detroit Lions, who make it a tradition of playing on Thanksgiving Day always seem to have a solid game. For the Titans, after winning 10 straight games, the New York Jets knocked them from the ranks of unbeaten on Sunday 34-13. The Titans continue to lead the AFC South by three full games ahead of Indianapolis. Tennessee has scored 257 points on the year and allowed just 165. On the year, in road games this season the Titans have won all five games; over Cincinnati, Baltimore, Kansas City, Chicago and Jacksonville. For Detroit, nothing has went right for them all season. At 0-11, Detroit has gotten off to several good starts, with nothing to show. Leading on Sunday 17-0 over Tampa Bay, the Buccaneers outscored the Lions 38-3 from that point for a 38-20 win. The Lions have been outscored by a total of 153 points on the year; allowing 346 total points. The Lions trail the leaders in the NFC North; Chicago and Minnesota by six full games.

Seattle Seahawks (2-9) @ Dallas Cowboys (7-4)

Spread: Dallas – 12.5
Over/Under: 46.5
Preview: The Seattle Seahawks have not made Mike Holmgren’s last season a bright one. Seattle has won just 2 of 11 games; with those wins coming over St. Louis and San Francisco, both divisional foes. The NFC West, outside of the leader – Arizona has a combined record 7-26. The Seahawks fell Sunday to Washington 20-17 in a very tight game. Quarterback Matt Hasslebeck has been hampered by injury most of the season threw for two touchdowns on Sunday, but was also intercepted twice as well. Maurice Morris was a bright spot on Sunday in the loss as he ran for 103 yards, but no touchdowns. For Dallas, since the return of quarterback Tony Romo have won two straight games. The Cowboys are now 7-4, tied in second place in the NFC East. The Cowboys and Redskins trail the New York Giants by three full games, but are currently locked into a wildcard position. In the win on Sunday over San Francisco, Romo threw for 341 yards, with 213 of them going to top receiver Terrell Owens. The Cowboys are 4-1 at home with their lone loss coming to Washington.

Arizona Cardinals (7-4) @ Philadelphia Eagles (5-5-1)
Time: 8:15pm ET
Spread: Philadelphia -3
Over/Under: 47
Preview: With both teams coming off a loss in week 12, Thanksgiving Day looks to snap one of the streaks. The Cardinals fell to the defending champion New York Giants, while Baltimore embarrassed the Eagles on the road. The Cardinals are 7-4 overall and leading the NFC West by four full games. Quarterback Kurt Warner has been nothing short of spectacular and looks like an early pick for the MVP. Warner has thrown for 3506 yards and 21 touchdowns. Larry Fitzgerald leads the receiving core that is one of the best in the NFL with 1010 yards and six touchdowns. The Eagles are all over the media this week after tying in week 11 and then getting blown out against Baltimore. Donovan McNabb was benched in that game, as he was very ineffective. Kevin Kolb came in at the quarterback position and was not productive as well. The Eagles have outscored opponents 271-229 on the year. Philadelphia trails the Giants, Cowboys and Redskins inside the NFC East.

San Francisco 49ers (3-8) @ Buffalo Bills (6-5)

Over/Under: 42.5
Preview: The San Francisco 49ers were 35-22 losers on Sunday to the Dallas Cowboys. In the loss, the 49ers allowed Tony Romo to throw to star, and former 49er Terrell Owens at will. The 49ers are in second place in the NFC West, and lead St. Louis and Seattle by a game. In the loss on Sunday top running back Frank Gore was able to run for just 26 yards on 14 carries. Shaun Hill completed 21 of 33 passes for two touchdowns and also an interception for San Francisco. The Bills were huge 54-31 winners over the Kansas City Chiefs. The win snapped Buffalo’s four game losing streak, including a Thursday night defeat to Cleveland. The Bills are tied with Miami in last place in the AFC East, one game behind New England and two behind the Jets. The Bills got 273 passing yards from quarterback Trent Edwards in Sunday’s win. The Bills are outscoring opponents 273-249 on the season.

Baltimore Ravens (7-4) @ Cincinnati Bengals (1-9-1)
Time: 1:00pm ET
Spread: Baltimore – 7
Over/Under: 36.5
Preview: The Baltimore Ravens picked up a huge win on Sunday in which the defense was the story. The Ravens defense held Philadelphia to 7 points, picking off four passes; one for a touchdown; recovering a fumble, scoring a safety and blocking a kick. The Ravens are now 7-4 and just a game behind front running Pittsburgh in the AFC North. Baltimore’s quarterback Joe Flacco threw for just 183 yards in the win, but threw for two touchdown passes. The Ravens are outscoring opponents 258-187 on the year. Cincinnati is coming off a 27-10 loss at the hands of divisional leading Pittsburgh. In the loss, the Bengals were held to just 208 total yards on offense. Cincinnati is in last place in the AFC North. The Bengals are getting outscored on the season 148-276. Cincinnati is 0-4 in home games this season.

Indianapolis Colts (7-4) @ Cleveland Browns (4-7)
Time: 1:00pm ET
Spread: Indianapolis – 4.5
Over/Under: 45
Preview: The Indianapolis Colts have won four straight games; wins over New England, Pittsburgh, Houston and San Diego. In Sunday’s win, kicked Adam Vinatieri kicked a game winning fieldgoal as the clocked expired to knock off the San Diego Chargers, and drop them to 4-7 on the season. The win for the Colts moved them to 7-4 overall and in second place in the AFC South. Quarterback Peyton Manning has completed 266 of 424 passes for 2823 yards and 19 touchdowns. Colts running back Joseph Addai has ran for 457 yards on the year and five touchdowns. The Cleveland Browns are continuing to struggle and hit another low on Sunday in their 16-6 loss to Houston. The Browns are getting inconsistent play at the quarterback position, starting with Derek Anderson, and recently Brady Quinn; who was benched on Sunday. Romeo Crennell, Cleveland’s head coach says Quinn will be the starter on Sunday. In the loss, Quinn was picked off twice and Anderson once. Cleveland only garnered 240 total yards of offense in the loss.

Carolina Panthers (8-3) @ Green Bay Packers (5-6)
Time: 1:00pm ET
Spread: Green Bay – 3
Over/Under: 43
Preview: The current co-leaders of the NFC South are coming off a road loss to the Atlanta Falcons. In the Panthers 45-28 loss, Carolina’s defense allowed Atlanta running back Michael Turner to scamper for 117 yards and four touchdowns. In the loss, quarterback Jake Delhomme threw for 295 yards, with 168 of them to top receiver Steve Smith. DeAngelo Williams has gone four straight games garnering 100+ rushing yards. The Panthers are currently tied with Tampa Bay in the NFC South. Carolina lost at Tampa Bay 27-3 in week 6, the two teams will play again December 8th on Monday Night Football. For Green Bay, the Packers defense was embarrassed on Monday Night Football. Coming in with a top-passing defense, Green Bay had no answer for Saints quarterback Drew Brees. Brees threw for 323 yards and four touchdowns. The loss for the Packers dropped them one game back of both Chicago and Minnesota for the top spot in the NFC North.

Miami Dolphins (6-5) @ St. Louis Rams (2-9)

Over/Under: N/A
Preview: The Miami Dolphins are still holding onto playoff hopes, despite their Sunday loss to New England. At 6-5, the Dolphins are just one game behind New England. The Dolphins are 2-2 when playing on the road this season. On the year Miami has been outscored 245 – 237. Chad Pennington has been impressive behind center for Miami this season completing 225 of 341 passes for 2715 yards and 11 touchdowns. Ronnie Brown, Miami’s top running back has rushed 154 times for 642 yards and 9 touchdowns. The Rams are 2-9 on the year and seem to be going no where fast. At 2-9, the Rams are tied with Seattle in last place in the NFC West. The Rams are 1-4 when playing at home this season with their lone win coming over Dallas. The Rams have lost five straight; at New England, with Arizona, at the Jets, at San Francisco and with Chicago. The Rams only got 10 yards from their top rusher on Sunday, in the loss.

New Orleans Saints (6-5) @ Tampa Bay Buccaneers (8-3)
Time: 1:00pm ET
Spread: Tampa Bay – 3.5
Over/Under: 48
Preview: The New Orleans Saints will look to continue their hot play as of late on the road Sunday in Florida to take on the Buccaneers. The Saints are coming off a 51-29 pounding of the Green Bay Packers on Monday Night Football. In the win, quarterback Drew Brees threw for 323 yards, with 115 of them coming to Lance Moore. Running back Pierre Thomas ran for 87 yards on the game. Despite rushing just 5 times, Duece McAlister picked up five rushing yards and became the Saints leader in touchdowns. The Saints sit two games back of Tampa Bay and Carolina in the NFC South. For Tampa Bay, the Buccaneers have won three of four, including Sunday’s 38-20 win over Detroit. Tampa Bay has not had a 100-yard rusher since week six when Warrick Dunn scampered for 115 yards. Tampa Bay is a perfect 5-0 when playing at Raymond James Stadium.

New York Giants (10-1) @ Washington Redskins (7-4)
Time: 1:00pm ET
Spread: NY Giants – 3.5
Over/Under: 41.5
Preview: Sunday will provide a huge NFC East game, that looks to be a must win for Washington, if they want to compete for the East title. The New York Giants are 10-1 and three games up on the rest of the division; Washington and Dallas. The Giants have won six straight including Sunday’s 37-29 win over Arizona. Sunday’s win was without top running back Brandon Jacobs, who is said to be ready to play on Sunday. Quarterback Eli Manning has had a solid season completing 209 of 337 passes for 2319 yards and 18 touchdowns. For Washington, the Redskins left Seattle with a 20-17 win to move them to 7-4. Clinton Portis, despite being banged up led Washington with 143 rushing yards. Santana Moss caught four passes for 72 yards to assist in the offense. The Redskins have scored 201 points on the year, and allowed 199.

Atlanta Falcons (7-4) @ San Diego Chargers (4-7)
Time: 4:05pm ET
Spread: San Diego – 5
Over/Under: 49
Preview: At the beginning of the season, if you would ask any expert, or even any NFL fan outside of the state of Georgia which team would be 7-4, and which would be 4-7 coming into week 13; the Falcons or Chargers, a high percent would be inaccurate. The Atlanta Falcons have been the positive surprise in the NFC, and sit just a game back of Tampa Bay and Carolina in the NFC South. The Falcons are coming off a huge win over Carolina on Sunday. Running back Michael Turner ran for four touchdowns in the win and now has compiled 13 on the season. The Falcons have won just two of five games on the road this season. For San Diego, the Chargers come in with a disappointing 4-7 mark. Losers of two straight 11-10 to Pittsburgh and 23-20 to Indianapolis the Chargers are two full games back of Denver in the AFC West. San Diego has four losses of three points or less. Top running back LaDainian Tomlinson has garnered just two games of 100+ yards rushing. The Chargers look to get back in the win column with Oakland and Kansas City coming up and a season finale against division leading Denver.

Pittsburgh Steelers (8-3) @ New England Patriots (7-4)
Time: 4:15pm ET
Spread: New England -1
Over/Under: 39.5
Preview: In a battle of two of the perennial powers in the AFC the Pittsburgh Steelers will take the road and take on the New England Patriots. Pittsburgh is 8-3 on the season, and are winners of two straight games; San Diego and Cincinnati. The Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger has thrown for 2233 yards and 11 touchdowns on the season. Pittsburgh is a full game ahead of Baltimore in the AFC North. For New England, Matt Cassell led the Patriots to a huge AFC East win over Miami 48-28. Cassell threw for 415 yards, a week after throwing for 400 against the Jets. 125 of those yards went to top receiver Randy Moss, as he also caught three touchdown passes. On the year, Moss has caught eight touchdowns, along with receiver Wes Welker catching one. The Patriots are 4-2 in Foxboro this season.

Denver Broncos (6-5) @ New York Jets (8-3)
Time: 4:15pm ET
Spread: NY Jets – 7.5
Over/Under: 47.5
Preview: The Denver Broncos continue to find themselves fortunate in the AFC West. After losing their fifth game of the season on Sunday, the Broncos saw second place San Diego get knocked off and remained two games up in the division. Denver fell on Sunday 31-10 to Oakland. Jay Cutler threw for 204 yards in the loss, but did not throw a touchdown, but was picked off once. The Denver offense turned the ball over twice in the loss as well. On the season, the Broncos have been outscored 302 – 258. Denver is 3-2 when playing on the road this season. For the Jets, winners of five straight including a huge win over previously unbeaten Tennessee on Sunday. In the 34-13 win, Brett Favre threw for 224 yards, while Thomas Jones ran for 96 and Leon Washington picked up two touchdowns. The Jets led the AFC East by a full game over the New England Patriots, and are two up on both Buffalo and Miami.

Kansas City Chiefs (1-10) @ Oakland Raiders (3-8)
Time: 4:15pm ET
Spread: Oakland – 3
Over/Under: 41.5
Preview: The bottom two teams in the AFC West will get together for a Sunday afternoon affair in Oakland. The Chiefs come in at 1-10 with the lone win coming on September 28th over Denver. The Chiefs are in last place with their 1-10 record, and trail third place Oakland by two games. The Chiefs lost on Sunday 54-31 despite 240 yards from quarterback Tyler Thigpen.  Tony Gonzalez picked up 113 passing yards in the defeat. The Chiefs have been outscored 327-196 on the season. The Chiefs have lost all five of their road games they have been in this season. For Oakland, the Raiders picked up a huge win on Sunday over divisional leader Denver. The Raiders scored four second half touchdowns, after going 150 straight snaps without a touchdown. The Raiders have allowed 245 points and scored just 159 on the season. The Raiders are 1-4 at home this season.

Chicago Bears (6-5) @ Minnesota Vikings (6-5)
Time: 8:15pm ET
Spread: Minnesota – 3
Over/Under: 42
Preview: The Sunday Night Football game will feature the current co-leaders of the NFC North. The Bears are coming off the 28-3 win over the Rams on Sunday, while the Vikings are fresh from their 30-12 win over Jacksonville. The Bears got 132 rushing yards and two touchdowns from rookie running back Matt Forte. Forte on the season has ran 225 times for 909 yards and six touchdowns. The Bears quarterback Kyle Orton has thrown for 2049 yards and 11 touchdowns in ten games started. Chicago is out scoring opponents 267 - 234 on the season, and are 3-3 when playing on the road. The Vikings are out scoring opponents 253 – 246 on the year, and are 4-1 when playing at home. Adrian Peterson leads the Vikings offense with 1180 yards and 8 touchdowns on the year. Minnesota has won three of four games, with wins over Jacksonville, Green Bay and Houston, and the 19-13 loss at Tampa Bay.

Jacksonville Jaguars (4-7) @ Houston Texans (4-7)

Over/Under: 48
Preview: The Monday Night Football game will feature a pair of 4-7 AFC South squads that appear to be staying home come playoff time in 2008. Jacksonville, who has been a disappointment this season, is 3-2 in road games, with wins at Indianapolis, Denver and Detroit and losses at Tennessee and Cincinnati. The loss to the Bengals led to Cincinnati’s first and only win thus far in 2008. The Jaguars have been outscored 240 – 224 on the season and are three games behind Indianapolis in the AFC South. Tennessee leads the division with a 10-1 mark. The Texans, also 4-7 are coming off a 16-7 win over the Cleveland Browns on Sunday. In the win, Houston got 275 passing yards from quarterback Sage Rosenfels, with 116 of them to Chris Johnson. Steve Slaton led the Texans on the ground with 73 rushing yards. The Texans have allowed 293 points on the season, while scoring just 252.
