Current List of all 2013 Week 8 NFL Lines Can Be Found At The Bottom Of This Page

Listed below you will find the complete listing of all the NFL lines for all the upcoming week 8 matchups from JustBet Sportsbook (Deposit $300 & Get an Exclusive $300 Bonus Using This Link)
The weekend of NFL Football action kicks off week 8 with the traditional Thursday night matchup (airing on the NFL Network).  In our week eight Thursday night matchup, the inconsistent Carolina Panthers (3-3) fresh off a week seven rebound-win against the Rams, will head down to Tampa Bay to take on Greg Shiano’s winless Buccaneers; who will likely be without their star running back, Doug Martin. The Carolina Panthers are listed as six point road favorites in this matchup. Keep an eye on the Martin Injury as this could change as the week goes on.

There are only a three other road favorite / home underdogs on the week 8 NFL lines schedule. These road favorites include;

The (2-4 SU & ATS) Pittsburgh Steelers, who are laying a field goal in Oakland against the 2013 London Week 8 NFL GameRaiders.  The (2-4 SU) Raiders currently sit in the basement of the very surprising AFC West division.  The Steelers are currently 0-3 straight up and 1-2 ATS on the road this year and would likely not be a favorite away from Heinz field against very many teams.  The struggling Raiders are currently 2-1 (both SU & ATS) at home in 2013 and have treated their bettors well with an overall 4-2 ATS record.  The sharps will be looking to cash in on the Raiders and will likely be hoping to get them at 3.5 or 4 by game time.

Another other road favorite will be on display in the nationally televised week 8 Sunday Night Primetime NFL game.  The week 8 Sunday night NFL matchup features Arron Rodgers and the streaking Green Bay Packers (4-2 SU & ATS), who head to the Metrodome to take on Adrian Peterson’s (1-4 SU) Minnesota Vikings.  The Vikings will feature new quarterback Josh Freeman in his second start.  Minnesota will also play their second prime time game in as many weeks.  The Vikings have not gotten great play from the quarterback position this season. Most experts believe that the quarterback carousel with stop with Josh Freeman. The Vegas NFL lines for week 8 on Sunday had the Packers opening at 6.5 point favorites against the Vikings, despite the major injures Green Bay has faced.  Their big injuries include Randall Cobb, Jermichael Finley, & Clay Matthews. We’re going to assume that the public will overlook/ignore the Packers road struggles & major injuries.  As a result, we will expect this line to go up to 7 or 7.5 by gametime.  My guess is that the sharps are hoping for the same thing as the Packers seem to be one of the most over-bet teams every week.

We also have the biggest road favorite/home dog of all the week 8 NFL game lines in the Monday Night Football matchup.  On Monday Night, the (5-1) Seahawks head on the road as 10.5-point favorites to take on the ailing St. Louis Rams.  Despite their (3-1 SU & ATS) road record, the Seahawks haven’t looked good on the road.  It may also surprise people to learn that second year standout, Russell Wilson is a career 6-6 in the road as a starter.  In fact, Wilson’s worst career start was when he faced the Rams last season. He finished the game on the Road vs the rams in 2012 with a 3 interceptions and 0 TDs, which was good for a 14.4 QBR.  Despite these facts, the 10 point spread is up from a 6 point opening line.  This is likely due to the injury of the Rams starting quarterback in Sam Bradford on Sunday.  Veteran backup, Kellen Clemens will get the start for the Rams. Clemens took over for the injured Bradford in the 4th quarter, and finished the game with a stat-line of: 2/4, 19 yards, No TDs, No INTs.  Clemens has career 62 QB rating and has twice as many turnovers as touchdowns in his career.

In our first of two NFL International Series games, the red hot San Francisco 49ers (5-2 SU & ATS) will head to London to face the lowly Jacksonville Jaguars (0-7 SU & 1-6 ATS) in Wembly Stadium on Sunday.  This is the biggest point spread of the week as the week 8 NFL lines have the 49ers, who are coming off 4 straight wins, as 16.5 point favorites.  The oddsmakers clearly think the 49ers will do most of the scoring as the 40.5 point total is one of the lowest numbers on the board this week.  While this is technically a road favorite / home dog matchup, it’s not actually one as neither team has an advantage when playing on a neutral field in London.  The 49ers 2-1 ATS away from San Francisco and 5-1 ATS as a favorite this season.  The winless Jags were able to cover the spread just once in 2013, and it was on the road in Denver as 27 point underdogs.

Other big favorites from week eight’s game lines include the following;

The current superbowl odds favorite in (6-1 SU) Denver Broncos, are returning home from a highly publicized national TV loss , head to D.C. as big 13 point favorites against the (2-4 SU) Washington Redskins. The skins finally looked like the team from last season on offense. However, the opposite was true on Defense.  A struggling defense isn’t exactly something you want to have when your schedule has you playing in Denver against Peyton Manning’s high powered passing attack.

The fresh off a bye week in week 7, (5-1) New Orleans Saints welcome the (3-4) Buffalo Bills, who have been able to rally despite losing their Rookie sensation quarterback a few weeks ago. The Saints look to rebound from their heart-breaking loss to the New England Patriots last week. New Orleans has a top 5 passing offense as well as a top 10 passing defense this season. Excluding the final drive in the Patriots game, it’s been very surprising to see the Saints play defense like they have this year. The week 8 lines have the Saints listed as big 13 point favorites.  The Saints are  back to being another one of the public’s favorite teams to bet.  However, they have treating their bettors well this year with a 4-2 ATS record.

Cardinals vs. 49ersThe Week 8 odds on the NFL lines are ready and raring to go, and here at Bankroll Sports, we are going to be taking a look at all of the games on the Week 8 NFL schedule.

The Minnesota Vikings continue to be arguably the most surprising team in the league this year, and they are going to be starting off this week on the NFL Network’s Thursday Night Football against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. The Bucs have played well at times this year, but they just don’t feel like they are going to be stringing together wins all that often. This is a winnable game for Tampa Bay for sure, but that doesn’t mean that it is a game that is going to be won more often than not. The Vikes are laying 6.5 to start the week, but the game is bordering on a full touchdown as of Wednesday.

That number of ‘6.5’ is the most popular number on the board this week, as there are just an insane four games that are featuring teams that are favored by that number as of Wednesday afternoon.

Included in there are both the Sunday Night Football and Monday Night Football games. We’ll start at the back of the week, where the Arizona Cardinals are going to be hosting the San Francisco 49ers. Though the defense for the Cards has continued to excel this year, the offense is really putting the team behind the eight-ball. It is clear that Arizona is starting to slip and slide its way right out of the playoff picture, and all of a sudden, Head Coach Ken Whisenhunt might be on the hot seat as quickly as he got himself off of it. QB John Skelton is really stuck as the team’s starter right now, and that’s bad news for the Birds, who are going against one of the most dynamic defenses that the NFL has to offer. San Fran is one of those 6.5 point favorites that figures to win this one relatively easily, and if that turns out to be the case, the NFC West might be turning into a runaway after all.

Sunday Night Football is a crucial one for both the New Orleans Saints and the Denver Broncos. QB Drew Brees and QB Peyton Manning are both amongst the best in the NFL at their craft, and they are going to be hooking up in a big time high flying affair. New Orleans is back within two of the postseason again, and at least the whole NFC isn’t still there to hop. Meanwhile, Denver is 3-3 and sitting atop the AFC West, but it has a lot of work to do to be able to lock down a playoff spot in the crowded AFC. Denver is laying the 6.5 in this one at home at Mile High.

The fourth 6.5-point favorites are the New England Patriots. They have really underachieved this year, and they are very fortunate to not be 3-4 at this point. They have their longest roadie of the year when they travel to London to take on the St. Louis Rams, who are probably right on the verge of falling out of the playoff chase in the NFC. Both of these teams badly need this game to right their seasons, and New England, behind QB Tom Brady and his exciting offense, are the team favored by the TD at Wembley Stadium this year.

Maybe the biggest game of the day pits the Atlanta Falcons against the Philadelphia Eagles in the City of Brotherly Love. This is one of those games that might separate the contenders from the pretenders. Philly, armed with a new defensive coordinator after its bye week, is going to be letting QB Michael Vick go against the team that drafted him, but Vick knows that he really needs to keep control of the football if he is going to keep his job. If he turns it over near the three times that he is averaging per game this year, Vick and the Eagles won’t be justified as 2.5 point favorites against the only undefeated team left that the NFL has to offer.

The biggest road favorite of the week is San Francisco, and it is the only team aside from the San Diego Chargers and New York Giants that are laying points as visitors. The G-Men are giving a point and a half to QB Tony Romo and the Dallas Cowboys in the rematch of the very first game of the season when New York was beaten at home by Big D at MetLife Stadium. The Chargers are visiting the surging Cleveland Browns, who have all of a sudden won two straight games and could be on the verge of getting back in the conversation for the playoffs in the incredibly weak AFC. The Browns are catching 2.5.

Two teams are favored by more than a touchdown on the week. The Green Bay Packers are one of the biggest favorites of the year when they take on the Jacksonville Jaguars, who probably won’t have RB Maurice Jones-Drew or QB Blaine Gabbert. That’s why the Jags are +13 on the road in a game in which they really have very little of a chance. Meanwhile, the Chicago Bears are -7.5 against the Carolina Panthers at Soldier Field in a game that the Panthers figure to really have to have if they want to be in the postseason discussion and out of the No. 1 pick in the NFL Draft discussion instead.

The highest ‘total’ of the week is not surprisingly the 55.5 on the board between the Broncos and the Saints. The lowest is the 37.5 of Monday Night Football between the defensive minded 49ers and Cardinals.

Steve Spurrier South CarolinaThe 2012 college football schedule rolls on this week, and we are set to take a look at the Week 8 college football odds and all of the great games that are on tap for this coming week.

This is the first time that we are going to be seeing a Tuesday night game this year, and of course, a pair of Sun Belt teams are going to be in action. The North Texas Mean Green and Louisiana Lafayette Ragin’ Cajuns are the two teams that will have at it, and they are hoping to win a big game in front of a national audience to help woo a bowl game. The Cajuns are clearly the better of these two teams, and the oddsmakers recognize that, making them 3.5-point favorites, but we know that the Mean Green are going to want to show that they have an offense that can keep up with that of ULL.

Thursday night could be a bit of a dangerous moment for one of the top teams in the country. The Oregon Ducks are going on the road to take on the Arizona State Sun Devils in a battle of teams that are in the thick of the fight for the Rose Bowl. This is a game that Arizona State has had circled on its calendar for quite some time, and it is going to be hyped up to try to prove to the rest of the country that they can duke it out with the big boys. This is a rare road game for the Ducks, who haven’t really had to venture all that far away from Autzen Stadium this year. The oddsmakers are insinuating that this could be remotely close, knowing that the Sun Devils are only getting 10.

Elsewhere over the course of the start of the week, the SMU Mustangs are +5 at home against the Houston Cougars on Thursday to start the weekend, while the Syracuse Orange have opened at -3.5 against the Connecticut Huskies.

There are some huge games this weekend on tap, as there always are this time of year. The South Carolina Gamecocks have to go on the road for the second straight week, and they have to play against a team that is ranked in the Top 10 in the country for the third straight week. This week’s foe is the No. 2 team in the initial BCS standings, the Florida Gators. The last time the Gamecocks came to Ben Hill Griffin Stadium, Head Coach Steve Spurrier was able to log his very first win in this stadium since leaving the Gators for the Washington Redskins. South Carolina is +3, but it definitely is good enough to win this game, which would really shake up the BCS rankings.

This isn’t nearly the only game this week that is incredibly close, and it isn’t even the ony one in the SEC. The LSU Tigers are going on the road to take on the Texas A&M Aggies. The loser of this one can kiss their SEC Championship hopes goodbye, as both of these teams already have one loss in conference play. Going into College Station is as tough of a task as there is in the country, and this noon kickoff should be interesting. QB Johnny Manziel and the Aggies are three-point home underdogs at Kyle Field.

The Notre Dame Fighting Irish are going to be involved in one of their last major games of the year at Notre Dame Stadium, and they have a stingy BYU Cougars team coming to town. The Cougs are one of the few teams in the land that play defense as well as the Fighting Irish do, and that could make this is a great one to watch. The Golden Domers are laying 14.5.

In primetime this week, the Alabama Crimson Tide are favored by 20 on the road at Rocky Top against the Tennessee Volunteers. The Florida State Seminoles also figure to be favored by the Miami Hurricanes when that college football point spread comes out, though that line opens the week off the board until the status of QB Stephen Morris for the Canes is figured out.

Another Top 5 team is going on the road as well this week when the Kansas State Wildcats face off with the West Virginia Mountaineers. WVU was a Top 5 team last week going on the road against the Texas Tech Red Raiders, and it was knocked off in a big time way. Now, the Mountaineers are out of the Lone Star State for the first time in a few weeks, and the Cats have a tough test in Morgantown. There isn’t much in the way of confidence here for the men in purple and silver, as they are underdogs by a field goal. However, we have to remember that Kansas State was a huge dog on the road in Norman just a few weeks ago. Winning this game would go a long way towards proving that the Wildcats are a legit BCS Championship contender.

It has been quite some time since we have seen a team favored by even 30 points, but this week, we have something even more rare and more remarkable: A team favored by 41.5. That title goes to the USC Trojans, who are taking on the worst team in the Pac-12 this year, the Colorado Buffaloes. No one figures that the Buffs stand even half of a chance of coming on the road to the LA Coliseum and putting up a fight, and this seems to be a game that will be over by halftime. Four other teams are favored by at least 28 points as well, and that came on the heels of a week in which there wasn’t a team favored by more than four touchdowns.

Don’t feel like there aren’t going to be a number of close games this week, though. There are a tremendous 18 games that featured college football spreads of four points or fewer on the opening lines of the weekend. The closest of the bunch sees the TCU Horned Frogs favored over the Texas Tech Red Raiders by just a field goal in this clash in Fort Worth.

Fantasy Football picks are here at Bankroll Sports this year, and we are going to try to make the most of your NFL props betting options at BoDog Sportsbook by giving you some of the best fantasy football sleepers in Week 8!

Seattle Seahawks Defense/Special Teams vs. Cincinnati Bengals
Are we out of our minds playing with the Seahawks defense? This team has accounted for negative points twice already this year and just one point in most standard leagues once as well. That’s half of its games! However, we have a lot of reasons to hate the Bengals this week and love the Seahawks. This is going to be the first mega difficult road trip for QB Andy Dalton. No matter how bad Seattle is, Qwest Field is always a horror to try to play at. On top of that, RB Cedric Benson has been suspended for this game, and the weather is expected to be horrible. Last week, the Seahawks didn’t do all that much right against the Cleveland Browns, but if the clock just runs as quickly in this game as it did in that one, we should be getting a nice sum of points from this defense for a second straight week.

Mario Manningham vs. Miami Dolphins
Most of you that drafted Manningham did so way, way too early in your drafts. He was expected to be a bit of a sleeper this year, but so far, he really has done nothing to even warrant being on a fantasy team, let alone being a starter. He only has 18 catches for the season and hasn’t had more than 56 yards in a game, nor has he scored a touchdown yet. However, this is the perfect game for him to shine. Remember that Manningham has picked up more targets in these last two games (16 in total) than he had for the rest of the season combined. He’s going against a Miami defense which ranks No. 18 in the league against opposing wide receivers. You know that the Giants’ offense is going to be on the field quite a bit, as the offense for the Dolphins just can’t stay out of its own way. We think that this is the week for Manningham to be a big time boom.

Tim Tebow vs. Detroit Lions
Last week, we called for Tebow to have a great game against the Dolphins. In fact, he had a terrible game… and a fantastic three minutes in which he accounted for nearly 20 total fantasy points and 15 points in real life. The man is going to run the ball, he is going to throw the ball, and he is going to put points on the board in some respect against a Detroit team that, quite frankly, has been very questionable these past two weeks. You just know that somehow, Tebow is going to keep this game close no matter how ugly of a ball that he throws, and in the end, that will probably translate into at least 15-20 fantasy points, making the former Heisman Trophy winner a solid start.

Owen Daniels vs. Jacksonville Jaguars
Let’s get this part straight. If you have Owen Daniels, you’re starting him each and every week, unless you’re one of these wackos that is carrying two tight ends on your team and the other one happens to be named Antonio Gates or Jason Witten. However, just as we said last week with Ed Dickson, playing against the Jags with your tight end is a gold mine. The team’s Cover 2 scheme is conducive for a ton of passes right over the middle, and all three of the Texans’ tight ends might end up being great plays, especially if WR Andre Johnson ends up not playing yet again with his hamstring injury.

Week 8 of the 2010 NFL campaign is going to get underway this weekend. Below you will find the current list of 2010 Week 8 NFL lines and spreads along with a breakdown of the Week 8 NFL odds. Be sure to check out the free NFL picks from the expert handicappers at Bankroll Sports this weekend…

Week 8 of the NFL season is going to be quite the interesting one for a number of teams. There are currently 11 games on the NFL schedule for this weekend, and only one of the 11 home teams are underdogs, something that is out of the ordinary by the standards of NFL betting action.

It’s even more ironic when that one underdog is the defending Super Bowl champs. Something is really wrong right now with the New Orleans Saints, as they really haven’t had but one very strong game this season, and they have really yet to seize control of the Louisiana Superdome as they have had in recent years. This week, the Pittsburgh Steelers are coming to town in a clash of the two most recent Super Bowl champions. Pittsburgh’s defense looked penetrable last week against the Miami Dolphins, and the men in black and gold have to hope that that remains the case once again this week. However, with QB Ben Roethlisberger now having strung together back to back great games, this battle is sure to be a great one on Sunday. NFL picks can be made on this game until the Halloween night kickoff at 8:20, and the hosts are slender one point pups.

The month of November will kick off with a tremendous game as well. The Indianapolis Colts and Houston Texans are both coming off of their bye week, and they’ll meet at Lucas Oil Field for a tremendous Week 8 encounter on Monday Night Football. Houston took a major step in the right direction by beating down the Colts in Week 1 of the season, as RB Arian Foster rumbled for over 200 yards on the day. With the news breaking this week that TE Dallas Clark has been put on IR, one has to wonder if this is the year that the Texans win in Indianapolis for the first time ever. The oddsmakers are showing faith in the hosts though, as they are 5.5 point choices of the oddsmakers. The ‘total’ of 50 is the first game this year that has cracked the half century mark on the board.

This past weekend, the Buffalo Bills were the biggest underdogs on the board against the Baltimore Ravens, and they nearly pulled off the tremendous upset before falling in overtime to the men in purple and black. This weekend, they are once again the biggest dogs on the board, as they are 7.5 points in the rears to start against the Kansas City Chiefs at Arrowhead Stadium. Now though, Buffalo has the added pressure of being the only team in the NFL that has yet to win a game. It seems farfetched to really go the whole season without a win, but with the 2008 Detroit Lions watching and smirking, the Bills are going to be pressed to get the monkey off their backs in this one against the AFC West leaders.

With rashes and rashes of ‘over’ games of late, Week 8 is likely to feature 11 games with ‘totals’ in the 40s. The one exception is going to be the clash between the Carolina Panthers and the St. Louis Rams. These two were both playing in games last week that were decided at the gun, but the Panthers proved to be winners for the first time this year over the San Francisco 49ers, while the Rams were narrow one point losers to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. The prospect was there for this to be the first battle of the season between two rookie starting quarterbacks, but it appears as though QB Matt Moore is going to be the man under center in this one for the Panthers, not QB Jimmy Clausen. This should be a great one for QB Sam Bradford, who has led his team to three wins at home already on the season. St. Louis is favored by three points, while the ‘total’ has been set at the lowest number on the board at 36.5.

The one question mark this week is whether or not QB Brett Favre is going to lose his streak of consecutive games played dating back to the 1992 season or not. Favre reportedly has some serious ankle injuries at this point, and Minnesota’s game with the New England Patriots in Foxboro is currently off the board.

Week 8 of the 2010 college football campaign is going to get underway this weekend. Below you will find the current list of 2010 Week 8 NCAA football lines and spreads along with a breakdown of the Week 8 college football lines. Be sure to check out the free NCAA football picks from the expert handicappers at Bankroll Sports this weekend!

The first BCS rankings are out on the season, and the Oregon Ducks are the new No. 1 team in the country. Perhaps it’s not a grand thing to be ranked No. 1 though, as both the Alabama Crimson Tide and the Ohio State Buckeyes have fallen to the No. 1 hex in back to back weeks. If Oregon is going to make that three in a row though, it is going to end up really posting an inexcusable dud at home against the UCLA Bruins. For a standalone game, this is the biggest NCAA point spread of the season, as the Ducks are favored by a whopping 24 points on Thursday night.

Perhaps the team set to fall into the biggest trap this weekend is the Michigan State Spartans. MSU is all the way up to No. 8 on the year, and it has to be looking forward to its big showdown with the Iowa Hawkeyes next week that could ultimately decide whether it has a perfect season in the cards. However, we must remember that this was about the time of year that the Northwestern Wildcats snuck up on those same Hawkeyes and wrecked their perfect season very unceremoniously. It would be a disaster for Sparty if that same fate were to happen this weekend, but the NCAA football odds suggest that it had better be careful, especially in Evanston. QB Dan Persa and company are only five point underdogs.

As for those Hawkeyes… They’re at home this weekend against the Wisconsin Badgers. We saw what happened last week when the South Carolina Gamecocks went on the road the week after beating the top team in the country, as they were beaten by the Kentucky Wildcats. The Badgers are expected to do the same this weekend even though they are the slightly higher ranked team in this duel. Iowa is picked to win this sucker by 5.5 points at home.

In the Big XII, a pair of highly touted teams that are expected to meet in the Big XII Championship Game are going to hit the road and take on two up and comers that could spoil the party for them both. The Oklahoma State Cowboys and Missouri Tigers are both getting highly disrespected in their games this weekend, as both are undefeated and have looked rather flawless this year, yet are still underdogs. Both the Nebraska Cornhuskers and Oklahoma Sooners had better be careful, as they can watch not only their Big XII title hopes go up in flames, but their BCS Championship dreams as well.

All eyes at 3:30 ET though, will be glued to the Tiger tale going on at Jordan Hare Stadium. The Auburn Tigers and LSU Tigers are going to have a major SEC West war, and the winner will have a tremendous inside track towards the SEC Championship Game. This could also be the last bump in the road for Auburn before the Iron Bowl to end the season, as it will clearly be a hefty favorite in the remainder of its regular season games prior to heading to Tuscaloosa. This should be a great battle between a Heisman Trophy contender in QB Cam Newton and a fantastic defense that hasn’t been penetrated easily on the season. LSU knows how to win big games on the road (just ask the Florida Gators), but Auburn seems to be a blessed team this year. Still, laying six points is a ton in a game like this.

For a change this week, it is neither the Boise State Broncos nor the TCU Horned Frogs that are the biggest favorites on the college football slate this week. The Stanford Cardinal take that distinction, as they are 35 point favorites over the Washington State Cougars. The Utah Utes, the last undefeated ATS team in the nation, will put that mark on the line against the Colorado State Rams as 30.5 point chalks.
