Week 16 of the NFL season features a slew of games with playoff implications. There will be 15 games on the docket on Sunday, and the last game of week 16 being a rather historic one. It will be the last game ever at Candlestick Park on Monday night football.
On Sunday at 1:00 pm on the CBS dockett, there are five games that will be shown. Most of the nation will see the 11–3 Denver Broncos take on the 2-12 Miami Dolphins from Reliant Stadium. Fans in parts of the South Atlantic, Midwest and parts of the West Coast will see the 9-5 Indianapolis Colts take on the 11-3 Kansas City Chiefs. Fans parts of the Northeast and greater Ohio will see the 4-10 Cleveland Browns take on the 6-8 New York Jets. The 8-6 Miami Dolphins head to upstate New York to take on the 5-9 Buffalo Bills; this will be shown in most of Florida and parts of upstate New York. Fans in Tennessee and northern Florida will see the 4-10 Jacksonville Jaguars host the 5-9 Tennessee Titans.
On Fox at 1:00 PM, there will be four games shown throughout the country. The key NFC South showdown between the New Orleans Saints and Carolina Panthers will be shown in most of the South and South Atlantic regions, as well as parts of the Northeast. Fans in the parts of the Midwest and will see the 9-5 Cincinnati Bengals take on the 4-9-1 Minnesota Vikings/ Fans in the parts of the Northeast, greater Virginia, and in Texas and parts of the South will see the 7-7 Dallas Cowboys take on the 3-11 Washington Redskins. Fans in Missouri and greater Florida will see the 6-8 St. Louis Rams take on the 4-10 Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
There will be three late games shown on CBS. At 4:25 pm, fans in greater California will see the 4-10 Oakland Raiders take on the 7-7 San Diego Chargers. Fans in the Midwest and greater Pennsylvania will see the 7-6-1 Green Bay Packers host the 6-8 Pittsburgh Steelers from Lambeau Field. The rest of the country will see the 10-4 New England Patriots take on the 8-6 Baltimore Ravens from M&T Bank Stadium.
On Fox at 4:05 pm, there will be two late games shown. Fans on the northern West Coast, Mountain region, greater Arizona and small parts of the South will see the 12-2 Seattle Seahawks take on the 9-5 Arizona Cardinals from CenturyLink Field. Fans in the Midwest and most of the Northeast will see the 5-9 Giants take on the 7-7 Detroit Lions.
On NBC at 8:25, the 8-6 Chicago Bears take on the 8-6 Philadelphia Eagles from Lincoln Financial Field and a NFC matchup with major playoff implications. Finally, to finish up week 16, the 4-10 Atlanta Falcons head to Candlestick Park to take on the 10-4 San Francisco 49ers on ESPN’s Monday night football. It will likely be the last game in Candlestick Park, as the 49ers will move into their new stadium next season.
