Well, i think D Wade is the man deserved to be a 2009 MVP, his team is not as powerful as Cavs & Lakers but he brought it into the play off.
It is not the winningest team to be consider, it is how the a player carried the whole team into his shoulder every game.. good luck..

I'm from LA and like the Lakers. Was in Miami in March and went to the Heat vs Bulls game where Wade won it at the end of 2nd overtime. That was clutch. Gotta say that Wade is the Heat's MVP and the league MVP because he is the only reason why the Heat win and are in the play offs. Kobe has more of a supporting cast. Lemme tell you. Wade was a one man show. It was like watching 1 on 5. He was incredible. My votes on Wade then Kobe.. LJ.

Both of the guys are excellent players. Well I should be saying all three guys are great. I think of all, LeBron deserves to take that trophy home. He has transformed himself into such a phenomenal basketball player and he is just absolutely spectacular in almost every aspect of the game this year. He has really stepped it up this year with 7 triple-doubles and lost count of all of his double-doubles. He has really matured and has done an astounding job this year. LeBron For MVP!

This season, Kobe is great but Lebron is Better. Why? Look at their stats and compare. Look at their Team's Standings and compare. Then tell me who has a better stats and team standing.

A lot of people loves Kobe that is why whenever someone asks "Who's your MVP this year? Kobe or Lebron?". Of course, if you're a Kobe fan, you'd definitely say Kobe. We should not always look back on what they've achieved. It's true that so far, Kobe has better accomplishments than Lebron but in this case, we should look at the present and analyze it to determine who is better in terms of stats and Team standing. Because i guess these matter in finding out the real MVP.

I Think both kobe and lebron deserved to be the mvp, but kobe is much greater for me, because even though his not leading the stat of the league he still pull his team on the top...his a good leader and a good competitor, because you know every time he play on the opponent home town there's a lot of booowing he still play in a good way, because i think he knew that it was just a competetion and he is the greatest on the opponent so he deserved to have that in order for him to have a bad game but still he made it good. if lebron wins it's fine with me but if kobe win the mvp i'm very very happy because he's the player i idolize most not (taking forgranted mj). hope my son with be like kobe in the near future...for the record my son name is "Kobe" took from my idol.
go lakers take the championship trophy..good luck! go kobe go kobe go!!!

King James is a beast, but he's no Kobe Bryant. Kobe Bryant is God with he's skills compared to Lebron. Its like comparing a G4 to a G5, both are great jets, but only one is truely the superior. Rite now, Kobe is the shit. Lebron has got nothing but time. He's scaringly good at such a young age, but Kobe is way more refined right now. So the MVP this season is definitely Kobe's.

I've been thinking about this whole NBA MVP race, and I see a potential problem around the corner! Let me explain! Okay, the big race is for the NBA Defensive player of the Year! The reason I say that is, because it appears to be an award that D-Wade is the favorite to win. Well, if that happens, and he leads the league in scoring, while leading his horrible team to the playoffs, it really creates a problem in naming anyone else the league MVP. As of today, he has more points, assists, steals, and blocks than the other leading candidate! It's going to be a really tough decision, and I hope the league doesn't choose to not give him the Defensive player award because they see the potential problem. And, for GOD sakes, don't pacify him with the Comeback Player of the Year Award to save face. This is definitely going to be an interesting scenario come award time!

Forsure Lebron James is going to get mvp, he is the best there is he is probably going to be the next Mj when his career is done, he is amazing do you know anyone that comes out of high school and on his 3rd year averages 31.4 points a game? He should talk mvp home this year noone in the nba even comes close to these stats, 28 points a game, 7 assist a game, 7 rebounds a game, he is 6th in the nba in steals, averages 1.3 blocks a game, he leads the nba in triple-doubles with 7 would probably have more then 10 if he wasnt off by 1 or 2 assist or reb in a few games this season, and also has 25 double-doubles and when his team needs him for at three they can relie on him to pull up a few threes and dunks to get the game into over time or for a win and when lebron plays good which is every single game all of his team-mates play good.
